KGC

KGC has contracted with University of Dubai (UD) as an advisor for industry-academia collaboration for the first in the world's organization. The object of this alliance is to promote UD's international collaboration with industries by 1) preparing the scheme of collaboration and 2) introducing UD's research resources to industries all over the world.

Dubai, one of the emirates in United Arab Emirates, has developed its business and tourism infrastructure under the initiative of the emirate government, and is attracting world's attention as one of the biggest business and tourism hub in Middle East. Dubai is now planning to strengthen academic and scientific research (e.g. construction of "Knowledge Villedge", which is the conglomerate of universities of all over the world). And UD is expected as a strong point of research activity in Middle East and its importance is getting larger. KGC has recognized the importance of this university and become the first to contract an advisor contract of industry-academia collaboration.
